Love your book. Wish I had found it a long time ago. I've attached a before and after shot of my daughter. It was shot by a local professional and retouched by myself. Thanks for the wonderful info.

I wanted to show you a before and after photo that I did after reading your book. I really didn't know much at all about Photoshop before reading your book, and have learned a lot in just a couple weeks after I bought it.

My favorite part is the girl on the lefts eyes. In the original they are half closed and I thought that the "after" eyes came out very nicly.

I can not say enough about your book. I consider it a valuable "tool" to use with Photoshop. It is the best book I have come across on the subject of photo retouching. I am sure many echo may sentiments. Thanks.

This is a picture of my mother when she was 23 yrs. old, and one of my first attempts at photo retouching. It was tucked away for many years and when I saw it I immediately wanted to make it "live" again. As you can see it is pretty old and battered with bad color, blemishes, stains, and scratches. With the help of your book I took steps to make it a grayscale image, correct the tone, give new black & white highlights, better contrast, remove the blemishes and scratches with the clone and patch tools. Then I switched back to RGB and added color to the image. After I was done I showed it to my mother and she was completely amazed and could not believe it was the same photo. She was so pleased and proud of the new photo. I had her sign it for me, then I framed it and put it in my house. The whole experience was so gratifying.

I'm writing to you from Spain. I've read your book "Photoshop Restoration and Retouching" and I must say It's one of the best books I've read about Photoshop, really interesting and useful, and also entertaining.

I've seen the examples on your webpage and some of them are really incredible.

This program is always challenging. I'm eager to have more and more photos to retouch, specially now thay I'm learning so many useful skills from your book.
